Still has a ways to go in fully comprehending the way operations work within decimal numbers, more so regarding multiplication rather than addition due to the need to be accomodating of the decimal points position more in such cases.

Crystal showed improvement in her ability to understand why decimals work the way in which they do through relating it to other mathematical concepts she is already familiar with. This was done with relative ease once she came to understand the idea of multiplication moving the decimal point in a particular direction.
Crystal shows some clear improvement, but should continue to work on this topic, especially in coming to terms with the idea of thinking of the decimal point as jumping from place to place.

Crystal showed clear general understanding of the mathematical concepts present in questions and how to solve them as such, but would need to work some more on getting to that point after extracting all relevant information from said question.
As said, Crystal is very good at actually answering the questions but needs to practice more of her interpretative ability so that she can actually get to that stage of breaking down a question herself and easily solving it.
Victor had a good preliminary set of information which helped him greatly in understanding the new concepts which was great to see.
