What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is empowering someone to learn and improve their understanding of a subject. I find it incredibly rewarding to help nurture someone's learning and allow them to achieve their personal academic goals. I also appreciate the ability to make connections with others and be able to cater my tutoring to their style.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my biggest strength as a tutor is my ability of simplify concepts. This is extremely important in tutoring science subjects which are full of complex and difficult to grasp concepts where students will typically struggle. Moreover, I am patient and attentive which helps to create a comfortable environment for students to learn in. Another strength is my reliability and organisational skills; I will always be punctual to my students and provide lesson plants.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for their student is to nurture confidence in their own abilities. A confident student is much more likely to ask questions and challenge themselves, which will greatly improve their understanding of a subject. Additionally, it is vital for a tutor to allow the student to think independently instead of 'spoon-feeding' the learning, this will improve a student's ability to problem solve and continue learning on their own.
