What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Every student learns differently, so I enjoy finding ways to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them. It’s amazing to watch them go from feeling unsure to saying, ‘Oh, I get it now!’—those moments make it all worth it. I love being able to support them, not just with the subject, but also in building their confidence.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think one of my biggest strengths is explaining things in a really simple, clear way. I try to avoid jargon and break it down so students understand, not just memorise. I am also very patient. I know some students take a little longer to get something, and that’s okay. I never rush them—I’d rather create a space where they feel comfortable asking questions, no matter how small. I’m also good at adjusting how I teach based on what works for each student. Some like visual examples, some prefer step-by-step explanations. Once I figure out what clicks for them, I shape the session around that.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think one of the most important things a tutor can do is help students believe in themselves. Sometimes they know more than they think—they just need someone to encourage them and show them they’re capable. And remind students that learning is a process. A tutor should focus on progress, not perfection, and celebrate the small wins along the way.
