What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is knowing I'm making an impact in a student's life. my biggest form of achievement from tutoring is when parents personally thank me for improving their child's self-esteem, motivation and grades. I also really enjoy getting to know each student and tailoring my teaching approach to them specifically, as no student is the same.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor include creating a safe and comfortable environment for my students where they are not afraid to make mistakes or ask questions, I ensure each student feels their unique needs are understood and supported. I also prefer a more hands-on approach to lessons, less lecturing, more fun and interactive activities and most importantly, practice! Due to this, all my students have seen a significant improvement in their self-esteem and grades (one student progressed from C's to an A in maths).

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe some of the most important things a tutor can do for a student include: understanding their unique learning requirements and style (this ensures effective and efficient studying), encouraging them to work on their weaknesses while making it enjoyable (this allows students to improve in a healthy/ positive environment and also foster a love for learning) and also motivating them to always try their best. Additionally, I believe the fundamental focus should be on improving knowledge, study skills and confidence, which will ultimately reflect in the student's grades.
