What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students grow in confidence as they understand new concepts. It’s incredibly rewarding to support someone’s learning journey, create a space where they feel comfortable asking questions, and know that I’m making a real difference in helping them achieve their goals—all while continuing to challenge myself and strengthen my own understanding through teaching. Subjects I can tutor: Further Maths, Data Analytics, Geography, Accounting, Business Studies, English. The selection of subjects didn't work.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my strengths lie in my strong awareness of the curriculum and what is expected of students—because I’ve recently experienced it myself. This firsthand knowledge allows me to offer practical guidance and relevant strategies. I also build strong connections with both students and parents, creating a supportive and communicative learning environment. Most importantly, I know how to teach students to “play the man, not the gamehelping them understand how to approach tasks with intention, read their teachers’ expectations, and respond strategically for the best outcomes.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student are to build their confidence, provide clarity, and teach them to think strategically. This includes helping students understand expectations, offering tailored curriculum support, and empowering purposeful learning. By fostering strong relationships with students and parents, tutors create a supportive environment that encourages growth, resilience, and smarter study habits. Teaching students to “play the man, not the game†is key—it equips them to read between the lines and meet expectations more effectively.
