What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the process of passing knowledge onto my students. It is incredible to further strengthen your knowledge on a subject as well as theirs.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My biggest strength as a tutor is that I have a an academic background from a select-entry highcschool, this allowed me to always be reflective of learning practises as I was surrounded by like minded peers.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to listen to them. This forms a proper connection and foundation for learning as the student feels that their prior knowledge and opinions will be taken into account throughout their learning journey.

About Muhammadah but I prefer Maha

Leadership in Learning and Communication

Maha brings a wealth of leadership experience to her tutoring, having served as both Debating Captain and House Captain, as well as an active member of the student representative council. These roles have sharpened her ability to communicate clearly, guide younger peers, and create engaging learning environments. Her involvement in debating ensures she can help students not only understand content but also express their ideas confidently—an essential skill for success in both English and maths.

Academic Excellence and Competition Experience

This tutor’s dedication to academic achievement is reflected through multiple Academic Excellence Awards and high placements in the Australian Mathematics Competition. Maha’s own participation in maths competitions allows her to offer practical strategies for problem-solving under pressure, while her award-winning experience with slam poetry adds creative flair to English sessions. She draws on these achievements to motivate students, making lessons relevant and inspiring.

Empathy-Driven Tutoring Approach

Currently studying nursing, Maha brings a naturally compassionate perspective to her teaching style. Her volunteer work with children demonstrates patience and genuine care for student wellbeing. By integrating real-life examples from science, maths, and literature into her sessions—and encouraging teamwork inspired by her collaborative background—she ensures each child feels supported while building confidence across core subjects.
