What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy getting to know the student better, and helping them thrive in their studies. I believe that students require encouragement and support to boost their confidence in a situation which can be quite overwhelming. Tutoring is also very rewarding as you can watch your students grow into passionate learners.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have strong communication skills, which were built during my nursing placement as well as school captaincy. I have an understanding of what the students are going through so I can relate to them and try to adjust my teaching methods based on these factors. I have excellent time management and organisation skills, evident in my academic achievements in high school and university. I am able to actively listen to the students and can be flexible in teaching methods.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Provide encouragement and support, being there for the student not only for academic help but for general aspects of schooling. Empower the students to be their best self, holding them to a high standard. Engaging in constructive, positive feedback, providing tips for improvement as well as noticing their strengths.
