What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most is the moment when something finally clicks for a student - when confusion turns into confidence. I love breaking complex ideas into simple steps and watching students go from “I can’t do this” to “Wait… I get it now.”
Tutoring also gives me a way to give back. I’ve been lucky to learn from great mentors, and now I get to pass that on, not just by teaching content, but by helping students believe in their ability to figure things out.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My biggest strength is explaining complex ideas in simple, relatable ways. I focus on helping students actually understand the “why” behind what they’re learning, not just memorise steps. I’m patient, adaptable, and always try to meet students where they are, whether they’re aiming for top grades or just trying to catch up.
I also bring a strong mix of academic and real-world experience from international math competitions to teaching thousands of students through platforms I’ve built. I understand how to balance structure with flexibility, and I always aim to make learning feel less overwhelming and more empowering.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is help a student feel capable. It’s not just about explaining the material, it’s about creating an environment where they feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
A great tutor doesn’t just help improve grades; they help build confidence, independence, and a mindset that says, “I can figure this out.” That’s what sticks with students long after the lesson ends, and that’s what I always aim for.

About Aadesh
From Local Classrooms to Global Competitions
I’ve been passionate about learning and teaching from a young age. From placing Top 5 worldwide in Caltech’s international math tournament to earning an A in Stanford’s university-level math program. Now, as a USYD Advanced Computing and Science student, I bring that same drive into tutoring. My goal is to make complex ideas simple and inspire confidence in every student.
Teaching Beyond the book
For me, tutoring isn’t just about covering the syllabus but about building skills that last a lifetime. I focus on a concept-first approach, helping students truly understand the “why” behind the subject. Whether it’s Maths, or coding, I adapt to each student’s style and pace, so they leave each lesson feeling more confident than when they came in.
Experience You Can Trust
Over the past few years, I’ve taught students from more than 25 countries through edumadeasy and STEMExpedition - platforms I founded to make quality education accessible. I’ve worked with learners at all levels, from beginners to competition-level students, and I know how to tailor lessons for maximum impact and clarity.
