What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy the most about tutoring is being able to see a student's growth firsthand. I love seeing a student's confidence build over time as they start to understand concepts they once found difficult. It is incredibly rewarding to know that I am helping them improve academically and also as a person beyond the classroom
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my biggest strengths as a tutor are being able to explain things clearly and adapt to the way each student learns best. I make a point of actively listening so I can understand where their mindset and perspective. I'm also very organised, ensuring my lessons are well-prepared and goal-focused, so each session builds on the last, helping students feel a sense of progress and confidence in themselves.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student starts by being present and engaging in their learning. Students are more able to build their confidence when a tutor shows they're dedicated to helping them develop in all areas of their learning. A great tutor creates a safe space for students where they can ask questions without fear of judgment. A great tutor also listens, adapts to the student’s needs, and guides them to become more independent learners over time.

We need to improve on following the steps of BEDMAS to assist in answering problems. We also need to improve on her times tables to more quickly recognise highest common factors
