While she put in effort to tell the time, the lesson seemed to be overwhelming. I need to try to reinforce a proactive and interesting lesson to lessen her stress and reinforce her learning.

Asees showed great resilience during this lesson, especially when having to solve for tricky answers. She was able to confidently answer questions 1,2,3 (with some help in place value), 4 (wirth the help of accurately recalling appropriate ways to solve for this equation - beginning, and counting, from the highest value to add the lowest value. Asees could confidently identify that quarters consisted of 4 parts of a whole, however, with some leading, concluded that one half makes a whole. For Question 6 Asees could identify that the pattern was skip counting by 3, and able to count on 3 up until the last value (she's good at counting but has a tendency to count too fast for her, so she requires slowing down). Q8 Asees could identify that the hour hand will go on the hour (in this case 8) but was unable to relate half past to the clock.
Asess showed tremendous focus and recall when solving most of these equations, however we need to improve on breaking down and simplifying numbers and problems in to steps to avoid Asees becoming overhwelmed. I will need to cover problem solving and regulation strategies for us to continue.

I need to enhance my student's focus better and structure my lesson to cater to my student.
