What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
In high school, the help I received from mentors and tutors is what kept me going. I know how crucial and helpful tutors can be on a person's academic journey, and I hope to be someone like that for someone else too.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Although I am strong academically, I think my greatest strength is my passion for helping others. I've always enjoyed teaching others concepts and skills; it gives me genuine happiness helping others in this way. Its like lifting a burden off of someone when you help someone understand something they couldn't wrap their head around. I used to be a private tutor too, so I have experience in coordinating with parents and scheduling tutoring as well as organising materials and homework catered towards students' specific needs.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Although explaining concepts is definitely useful, I believe it is a tutor's responsibility to show students how to enjoy studying and do it more effectively. Helping students mentally through encouragement and giving them tips on how to thrive in any avenue of study and learning will benefit them far more than just learning a formula or concept. I am also a firm believer in working smarter and not harder - no one wants to spend their high school days remembering concepts, doing math equations or writing essays (including me).
