What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have been teaching since my engineering days where I helped my juniors tackle advanced mathematics. It gives me great pleasure to see students grow in confidence as they begin to understand concepts that once seemed difficult. I find it rewarding to break problems down into simpler steps, adapt my approach to suit each student’s learning style, and watch them progress over time. Tutoring allows me to pass on strategies that worked for me and to show students how maths can build useful skills beyond the classroom
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor are patience and clear communication. I understand that each student learns at a different pace and I try to adapt accordingly. Secondly, I believe having knowledge is one thing but having the ability to communicate that knowledge is a different skill altogether which is something I excel at.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to build their confidence, make learning feel approachable, and provide clear strategies for problem-solving. A good tutor should not only explain the subject but also help the student develop independent learning skills they can use beyond the classroom.
