Dylan did a really great job at quickly getting the hang of dividing and multiplying fractions, which he hadn't learnt before. He worked hard to break down the trickier questions involving fractions and order of operations. These new skills will be extremely helpful for giving Dylan a head start in his studies as he begins High School.
It is important that Dylan improves the setting out of his working so that it is easier for markers to understand. However, he is getting more used to consistently working questions out on paper rather than in his head, which is excellent.

It is important that Aleah consistently writes out her working to prevent the mistakes that may come from doing the working solely in her head. In her recent exam, Aleah mentioned that the only marks that she lost came from smaller mistakes, so in future we will practice error spotting and more rigorous checking of her working.
Aleah is quick to understand trickier questions and remember formulas. Her working out is consistently very neat and well-structured.

I hope that Aleah will continue feeling more comfortable to voice if she still feels confused after going over a problem, as doing so will make it easier to target her weaker topics. It is important that Aleah revises units of measurement and their conversions before her upcoming exam in order to prevent her from unnecessarily losing marks.
Aleah was consistently able to pick up on any errors with only a little prompting and she remembered and used each formula correctly.

It is important that Aleah continues to practice converting measurement units (e.g cm squared to mm squared) as it can be easy to feel confused in an exam setting.
