What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy helping students build confidence and seeing that “lightbulb moment†when everything starts to fall into place. It’s rewarding to know I can make learning feel easier and more enjoyable while helping them achieve their targets.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my biggest strengths as a tutor come from my combined experience as a Pre-Service Teacher and my current role as an Education Support staff member. Working closely with students every day has helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles. My teacher training has given me a solid understanding of how students learn, while my hands-on school experience has taught me how to build trust, keep students engaged, and explain ideas in a clear and supportive way. Together, these experiences are my strength.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is build a student’s confidence and make learning feel achievable. A good tutor listens, adapts their approach to each learner, and helps students develop the skills and motivation to learn independently.
