Rishee brings strong experience working one-on-one and in small groups with children on the autism spectrum, supporting their academic, social, and life skills. She has helped implement individual learning plans, used behaviour and sensory strategies to keep students engaged, and regularly liaised with therapists and families to keep everyone on the same page. This tutor understands that every child learns differently and is skilled at breaking tasks into manageable steps, building confidence while still gently stretching students to grow.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science, Rishee has a solid grounding in how children think, learn, and stay motivated. She has studied learning theories, child development, and behavioural psychology, and now builds on this through a Master of Teaching (Primary). During her teaching placement, she planned lessons, differentiated activities for mixed abilities, and practised clear, step-by-step instruction—skills she now brings directly into her tutoring in English and early Maths.
Beyond classrooms, Rishee has led group reading sessions for children aged 7–11, focusing on sight words, pronunciation, spelling, and vocabulary. She has created and organised teaching resources across subjects, and adapted materials so they are easier for children to understand and use. In tutoring, she likes to turn reading and writing into interactive activities rather than worksheets alone, and keeps parents informed about progress, next steps, and simple strategies to reinforce learning at home.
