What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students build their exam skills and confidence. I enjoy tailoring personalised lessons suited to the student's strengths and interests, and creating a safe and supportive environment that allows them to ask for guidance whenever needed. Being able to see when a concept clicks for a student is a rewarding experience for me as a tutor.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My key strengths as a tutor are patience, adaptability and strong organisational skills. I break down concepts clearly and work at the student's pace to ensure full understanding. I maintain a positive and calm attitude during lessons, come prepared with materials, and monitor each student's progress while keeping their parents informed.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important things a tutor can do for a student are to create a supportive and safe environment that allows the student to feel comfortable making mistakes and discussing weaknesses, and encourage the student to stay on track and not give up when exam preparation feels difficult. My goal as a tutor is to guide the student to understanding why a solution works so that they can independently apply it in future exams.
