What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I’ve always found joy in teaching others. I love the rewarding feeling when the student figures out that that task/question/topic isn’t as crazy scary as it seems! There’s immense joy in sharing the victories and successes of a student through hard work and persistence.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

When I do maths I focus on understanding based learning, and viewing topics from different angles is my strong suit. I’m able to help with strategies on how to get the most marks from an exam, and then management in stressful test conditions. I can explain concepts focusing on different desired levels of understanding, and am flexible with weaker students too.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Building confidence is the main thing that will see a rise in a student’s grade. It’s important for them to be able to feel comfortable using their knowledge in assessments and have a strong self belief of skill for them to achieve highly.
