What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
For me I enjoy viewing the learning process and helping students understand a large process be broken down into easily managable subtopics that they can then understand when put all together. I occasionally tutor my sister who is currently in year 8 with math homework and find it that she will struggle and struggle to understand a concept but when it finally clicks its super rewarding, a feeling that I mutually enjoy.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor is the ability to gauge where a student is currently at and to make them feel comfortable and ok with being at that level so that they can move into the learning stage with an open and clear mind. To add to this more specifically, I believe I am a strong commuicator and can change how I approach teaching a student dependent on their needs.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Provide a guiding hand and be there for them when they need it without directly giving away the answer or solution to a problem. The struggle is where the learning happens and it's important to be there with them and help create a strong yet comfortable learning environment for them to excel in.
