What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is watching a student’s confidence grow as they begin to understand and use new skills. It’s incredibly rewarding to see that moment when something makes sense to them, and then later watch them apply what they’ve learned with pride. I love when students become curious, start asking deeper questions, and genuinely engage with the subject. Seeing their progress over time , and knowing that I’m supporting them on that journey, is the most meaningful part of tutoring for me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor are patience, clear communication, and the ability to explain concepts in a simple, engaging way. I’ve studied child psychology at university, which helps me understand what motivates different students and how to keep them interested. Because I’m close in age to many learners, I can speak their “language†and connect with their interests. I also have formal training in teaching and several years of experience, which helps me choose effective techniques and create a supportive, confidence-building environment.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important things a tutor can do are spark the student’s interest in the subject, explain concepts clearly when something doesn’t make sense, and help remove the fear of making mistakes. When students see that learning is a process of trying, experimenting and eventually finding the answer, they become more confident and open to learning. A good tutor guides them through that process and shows them that they can succeed.
