Stacey is an Advanced Science student who finished school with an ATAR above 98 and repeated Academic Excellence awards. She has taken part in maths team challenges, national brain competitions and a university-level program in human body systems, giving her a strong foundation for explaining tricky maths and science concepts clearly. This tutor understands what it takes to move from “doing okay” to excelling, and she uses that experience to show students practical ways to improve their problem-solving and exam performance.
Throughout school and university, Stacey has actively taken on leadership roles, including a Year 7 buddy program, student induction support and a student–staff partnership project that turned student ideas into real improvements. As an Indigenous student leader and officer for a university collective, she plans events and outreach that help others feel welcome and confident. This tutor brings that same inclusive, encouraging style to her lessons, helping students feel safe to ask questions and proud of their progress.
Stacey’s background as a cross-country age champion and representative hockey player shows in her tutoring style: disciplined, energetic and focused on steady improvement. Balancing competitive sport, demanding studies and leadership roles has strengthened her time management and organisation, which she uses to create structured, realistic study plans for students. She helps learners break big goals into manageable steps, celebrates small wins, and shows them how to build the same resilience and perseverance that has driven her own academic and sporting success.
