What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is the moment when something ‘clicks’ for a student. Seeing their confidence grow, knowing I helped them understand something they once found difficult, is rewarding. I like that tutoring lets me support someone’s progress while also improving my own communication and problem-solving skills. Every student is different, so every session teaches me something new too.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my strength is making studying easy for students. I’m good at breaking concepts down into simple, easy-to-understand steps, and I make sure the student feels comfortable asking questions. I’m also very observant, I can quickly tell when a student is confused or losing confidence, and I adjust my approach accordingly. So students know they can count on me to support them throughout their learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

For me, the most important thing a tutor can do is make a student feel supported and understood. When a student feels comfortable asking questions and isn’t scared of making mistakes, they learn so much better. A tutor should explain things in a way that actually makes sense to the student, not just repeat what’s in the textbook. And most importantly, help them build confidence so they start believing they can do it.

About Shraddha

Tech-Savvy Tutor Who Makes Maths Click

Shraddha brings a strong background in data science and computer science to her tutoring, turning abstract maths ideas into practical, real-world examples. She regularly uses coding, data visualisation and problem-solving from her own projects to show students why topics like algebra, graphs and statistics actually matter. This tutor breaks complex problems into clear, logical steps, helping students who feel “stuck” build confidence and accuracy. Her sessions are ideal for primary and high school students who enjoy technology or need a more structured, step-by-step approach.

Logical, Step-by-Step Teaching for All Levels

With experience building full software systems, Shraddha is skilled at explaining difficult concepts in small, manageable chunks – the same way she would design and test parts of a program. She uses this approach to guide students through tricky maths and problem-solving questions, encouraging them to think critically rather than memorise. She often creates simple practice tasks, mini “challenges” and pattern-finding activities so students can see their own progress. This tutor is especially good at helping students prepare for tests by building strong foundations first.

Real-World Problem Solving to Engage Curious Minds

Shraddha’s work with predictive analytics and customer segmentation gives her plenty of real examples to bring into lessons, such as using data to explain averages, percentages and probability. She enjoys linking maths questions to everyday situations, like apps, games and online platforms, so students can relate to what they are learning. This tutor is patient, approachable and happy to adjust her style, whether a student needs slower explanations, extension tasks or more visual, tech-based activities to stay engaged.
