What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

It gives me self satisfaction when I can help others learn and grow. When I was in school, I used to aid my friends with understanding concepts and questions in Maths when they were having issues. Maths has always been my favourite subject and I would like to share this passion with other students as we work together to improve their knowledge and skills.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I feel that I have the ability to clearly and concisely convey mathematical concepts to a students so that they understand. I will also be extremely flexible with times and providing extra lessons if a student wants. Further, I feel that I'm calm and patient individual who is capable of dealing with students of various skill sets. I am willing to use the care needed to allow for a student to prosper.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe it is important to ensure that the students has obtained a deep understanding of the content rather than a temporary memorization. This can be done by providing students will ample resources as well as extra help if need be exterior to the lesson. The purpose of a tutor is to foster understanding, confidence, and independent thinking. A tutor helps students overcome anxiety and build strong problem solving abilities so they can succeed independently by tailoring explanations to their needs and filling in knowledge gaps.
