What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like being able to support students and find the right approach that helps them learn, and I like to dedicate myself to finding the best strategies to help students learn

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe I can adapt the way I teach, as I have experience both with one-to-one lessons and with teaching entire classes, where it is important to consider different learning styles.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

In my view, the most important part of teaching is supporting students as individuals, helping them stay motivated and develop self-confidence. Many learning difficulties come from a fear of making mistakes, and I believe it is important to show students that mistakes are a natural and valuable way to learn.

About Zoe

Qualified primary teacher with strong maths and literacy focus

Zoe is a fully qualified primary and early childhood teacher with a fiveyear integrated teaching degree, giving her a deep understanding of how children learn from ages 3–11. She has taught core subjects including mathematics, science and literacy within primary classrooms, and is confident planning curriculumaligned lessons that build solid foundations. Through multiple supervised teaching placements, she has learnt to break down tricky concepts into clear, stepbystep explanations, helping students move from confusion to confidence in both maths and English.

Inclusive, onetoone support tailored to each child

This tutor has extensive experience in learning support, working closely with students with diverse needs across several primary classes. She regularly adapts materials, uses visual aids and concrete examples, and adjusts the pace so every child can keep up and feel successful. Zoe has provided onetoone mathematics tutoring for both a primary student and an older learner, designing personalised lesson plans to target gaps, strengthen key skills and build confidence, while keeping sessions calm, structured and encouraging.

Creative, multilingual educator who connects with students

Zoe brings a warm, downtoearth style to her teaching, shaped by work in early childhood programs, summer camps and casual classroom roles. Used to managing small groups and whole classes, she keeps students engaged with handson activities, games and reallife examples, rather than just worksheets. As a multilingual speaker with strong English skills, she is comfortable supporting children in multicultural and bilingual families. Parents can expect clear communication, thoughtful feedback on progress, and a tutor who genuinely enjoys helping young people grow.
