What I enjoy most about tutoring is the curve students undertake in their learning journey, and being able to share this moment with them.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
At the start of high school I was averaging below average scores and had a subpar work ethic. Eventually, I decided that enough was enough and began to focus. During my phase of improvement I experienced the teaching styles of numerous different teachers and began to learn what worked, and what didnt work for me. Whilst I understand this will vary from student to student, I believe I am able to recognise that and best adapt my teaching methods to suit their style of learning.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
If I had to simplify in one word it would be listening. Listening, I would argue, is without a doubt the most important thing a tutor can do for a student. Force feeding infomation to a student who feels they have no say would be unhelpful. It is of upmost importance that the tutor listens to the student, recognises where work needs to be done and progresses from there.Subjects Tutored 🎓
