What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is the satisfaction of seeing the relief on their face once they finally understand a concept after I've explained it to them. I love connecting with them on a personal level so that they never feel scared to ask me questions or talk to me about what they need from me.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My main strength at tutoring is my patience and lack of judgement. I do not care if I have to explain something a million times, I will never judge a student for not understanding something even if it is the simplest concept. My passion for teaching lets me enjoy coming up with creative metaphors and explanations that best suits each student's learning style.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Every student has experienced that fear of realising you do not understand a concept in class or are struggling with a question but are too scared to approach the teacher about it. As I have mentioned earlier, I think the most important thing a tutor can do is set up an environment where the student feels safe and comfortable enough to ask questions and let you know when they don't understand things and need more help.
