What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love how beneficial tutoring can be for a student. I had tutoring throughout year 11 and 12 and it was a pivotal point in achieving the ATAR I received and I love the idea of making the same impact on other students.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my communication is strong which allows students to be comfortable with me and allow them to freely learn. I am also constantly looking for quality resources that can tailor to individual students and their needs which allows me to adapt to each student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do is find a way to teach that suits the style of the student in order for their tutoring to be effective. I also think its extremely important to stay consistent and be able to commit to a student to ensure that they can rely on your for support.

About Andreas

Confident High-Achiever with Strong Academic Foundations

Andreas is a recent high school graduate who finished in the top 10% of students, giving him a solid grasp of the content your child is learning now or will soon encounter. As a current learner himself, he understands exactly where students get stuck and how to explain concepts in clear, relatable steps. This tutor is particularly suited to helping primary and early high school students build confidence, good study habits, and a strong base in Maths and English.

Hands-On Experience Supporting Primary Students

Andreas has volunteered in an after-school care setting, regularly helping primary students with their homework. Through this, he has learned how to break down tasks, keep students on track, and explain ideas patiently when they are tired at the end of the day. He uses gentle questioning to guide students to the answer rather than doing the work for them, encouraging independence and resilience. Parents can expect clear communication about progress and areas that may need extra attention.

Responsible Role Model with Proven Leadership

Beyond academics, Andreas brings leadership and maturity to his tutoring. He has earned a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, which required long-term commitment to service, skill-building, and physical challenges, and he has held a formal leadership role at school, supporting younger students and school initiatives. His involvement in multiple charity events shows a genuine care for others. This tutor aims to be a calm, reliable role model who helps students stay organised, manage their time, and feel proud of their achievements.
