What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to help students build confidence in themselves and their abilities. It is incredibly rewarding for me to be able to watch students flourish and transform from being unsure and overwhelmed to genuinely understanding concepts and having pride in their progress. I also enjoy the fact that each student is unique and requires differing explanations that can be easily adapted. It is amazing to watch students realise that they are capable of much more than they initially thought.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

One of my main strengths as a tutor is my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently. Having recently completed the IB myself and achieved strong academic results, I understand both the content and the pressures students face. I am an organised, approachable, and supportive individual, who ensures that my teaching is tailored to each student's needs. My previous experience tutoring both privately, as well as voluntarily with refugee children has further strengthened my ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and learning levels.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. A tutor is not only there to aid in academic performance, but to also build a student's confidence, motivation, and independent learning skills.
