What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love watching students' confidence grow in what can often be a challenging and intimidating subject. As someone that loves mathematics, I find nothing more rewarding when students begin to appreciate the underlying logic and structure of mathematics, instead of relying on rote learning and memorisation.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Having studied pure maths at university, I have a very strong knowledge of mathematics and can break down concepts in a variety of ways to find an explanation that clicks for each student. I also have 9+ years of tutoring experience, and have developed confidence in explaining complex topics in simpler terms and working with students of all levels of ability and walks of life. I am a very friendly and approachable person, and encourage students to ask questions, celebrate mistakes as learning opportunities, and to guide the lesson to suit their needs!

Ensure students feel comfortable to ask questions when they don't understand something, and provide alternative explanations to find a method that suits the student's learning style.
