About Rohan

Experience With Maths.

High school maths was challenging at times, but it ended up being one of the most rewarding subjects for me. I learned to stay consistent, practise regularly, and not get discouraged when questions felt difficult at first. Over time my confidence grew, especially as I got better at breaking down tough problems and learning from mistakes. All that effort paid off when I achieved a 94 HSC Mark in Mathematics Advanced for my HSC

University degree

I’m studying Chemical Engineering and Commerce at UNSW, which has strengthened my understanding of HSC Mathematics and Chemistry. Engineering sharpens my problem-solving skills, especially in calculus, algebra, and applying formulas to real systems, while chemistry units deepen my grasp of reactions and theory. Commerce also builds analytical thinking, helping me approach HSC concepts logically and confidently.

Responsible Role Model with Real-World Skills

Through programs such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award and a project-based work experience program, Rohan has developed teamwork, problem-solving, and persistence—qualities he passes on to his students. He is reliable, punctual, and used to working in structured environments, making him a steady presence for regular lessons. This tutor enjoys combining his interests in fitness and outdoor activities with practical examples, helping students see how maths skills connect to everyday life and real decisions.
