What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy tutoring because it is a highly rewarding experience which allows me to track the growth of my students as they gain confidence and deepen their understanding of complex concepts. I enjoy adapting my teaching styles to suit the individual needs of every student and guiding them towards becoming more independent learners.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My key strength as a tutor is my ability to explain concepts in a clear, logical and structured manner. I am attentive, patient and skilled at identifying where a student's misunderstandings may stem from. Having recently completed my secondary education, I understand the common mistakes and difficulties faced by students and can offer strategies that are both effective and realistic for achieving high academic results.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important role of a tutor is to build confidence in their student's learning, guild them to think critically and solve problems independently. A competent tutor will create a supportive environment, encourage their students to ask questions, and allow them to develop the skills required for success in their future studies.

About Lehan
High-Achieving Maths & Science Role Model
98 ATAR
Clear, Step-by-Step Teaching for Every Learner
As a Taekwondo instructor, Lehan has taught children from age 5 through to adults, giving her extensive experience in breaking down complex skills into simple, manageable steps. She regularly uses demonstrations, guided practice and gradual progression, adjusting the pace to suit each student’s learning style. This tutor brings those same strategies into Maths and Science, helping students who may feel “stuck” to see problems clearly, build confidence and become more independent learners.
Patient, Disciplined and Student-Focused Approach
Lehan combines patience, discipline and strong communication to create a calm, encouraging learning environment. She actively listens to students to understand where they are struggling, then adapts her explanations until concepts click. Drawing on her leadership experience in martial arts, she sets clear goals, celebrates small wins and teaches students how to manage their time and study effectively. Parents can expect structured lessons, regular feedback and a tutor who genuinely enjoys seeing students grow.
