I enjoy tutoring most when a student becomes confident. Helping struggling students see they're not 'bad' at a subject just needing a different explanation builds confidence and changes everything. I think the most important thing a tutor can do is help a student truly understand, not just tell them the answer. Tutoring isn't the solution by itself.
