What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy most about tutoring is that I'm able to unlock the potential in students who have otherwise been unable to, whether they haven't gotten a suitable explanation or enough attention from their teachers. On top of that, I enjoy teaching mathematics and love getting practise whenever I can, and tutoring gives me the opportunity to be able to do so as a job.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
As a tutor, I am able to test different teaching approaches to find the methods that best suit my students learning style. By adapting my lessons to their strengths and needs, I help students to deepen their understanding in a subject, allowing them to prosper. I also have a deep understanding of mathematics, developed through my VCE studies and further strengthened by the Bachelor of Engineering I am commencing. This allows me to break down complex concepts, explain the underlying reasoning clearly, and help students build both confidence and problem-solving skills.
Most important things I can do for a student π
One of the most important things a tutor can do for their student is to build a close, long-term relationship. By working consistently with the same student over time, a tutor becomes deeply familiar with their strengths and weaknesses, allowing them to support the student effectively. Another essential quality for a tutor is strong subject knowledge, allowing them to teach topics in depth and clearly explain whatβs happening and why.

About Muhammad
My Education
I graduated and got my VCE in 2025, being in the top 1% of my cohort. I was awarded the Dux of Biology and Dux of Mathematical Methods. Currently, I am a student at Monash University, studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Masters Accelerated Pathway.
Strong Academic Foundation in Engineering and Problem-Solving
Currently studying an honours degree in Engineering, this tutor brings a strong mathematical and analytical background to his teaching. He uses his own experience of moving from school to a demanding university course to show students how to think logically, check their working and set out solutions clearly. Muhammad often links Maths and Biology concepts to real-world engineering and technology examples, helping students see why the skills they learn at school genuinely matter.
Relatable, Supportive Tutor with Flexible Teaching Style
Muhammad works with both in-person and online students, adapting his style to suit different learning needs and personalities. He uses worked examples, step-by-step breakdowns and regular mini-quizzes to track progress and keep lessons interactive. Having tutored a mix of stronger and struggling students, he understands how to encourage quieter learners while still stretching high achievers. Parents can expect clear communication about progress and practical strategies students can use between sessions.
