About Victor

From Commerce Student to Skilled Secondary Teacher-in-Training

Victor is a pre-service secondary teacher with a strong academic background in Economics and Commerce and a Master of Teaching underway. This blend of subject expertise and formal teacher training means he understands both the content and how to break it down for secondary students. He is familiar with curriculum expectations and assessment styles, particularly for Economics, Business and Humanities, and uses this knowledge to help students improve class results, exam performance, and overall confidence in schoolwork.

Hands-On Experience Supporting Real Students

Through a structured homework club, Victor regularly tutors secondary students in Economics, Commerce, Humanities, literacy, and study skills. He plans and delivers lessons for Years 10–11, then follows up with one-on-one and small-group support, targeted revision, and clear, specific feedback. Parents can expect a tutor who sets clear learning goals, checks understanding with thoughtful questioning, and adapts explanations so that each student, including those who struggle, can keep up and feel successful.

Engaging Coach Who Knows How to Motivate Young People

Beyond the classroom, Victor’s experience as a qualified ski instructor shows in his tutoring style: he is used to managing groups of children and teenagers, keeping them engaged, and adjusting his approach to different learning styles and abilities. He often β€œchunks” difficult ideas into small, achievable steps, just as he would when teaching a new skill on the slopes. Victor focuses on building confidence, organisation, and exam techniques so students not only understand the content but also feel motivated and in control of their learning.
