Kerri is a friendly, reliable tutor who already has hands-on experience helping children learn in real classrooms. As a teacher’s assistant at a coding camp, she supports students one-on-one when they are stuck on tricky concepts and keeps them focused through long sessions. This tutor is used to explaining ideas in different ways until they “click”, and her calm, patient manner helps even shy or easily distracted students feel comfortable asking questions.
With experience on a primary school media team, Kerri has helped teachers solve technical issues and present digital content to classes. She brings this confidence with technology into her tutoring, using slides, online tools, and visual explanations to make maths and English clearer and more engaging. Being fluent in English, Mandarin and Japanese, she is especially good at breaking down language and grammar for students who may be bilingual or learning English as an additional language.
As a current secondary student herself, Kerri understands today’s curriculum, assessment styles, and the pressures of school life. She uses this insight to help students with study routines, time management and staying motivated across the term. Parents can expect a tutor who is punctual, responsible and easy to communicate with, and students get a relatable role model who can share practical tips for managing homework, tests and classroom expectations.

Lillian displayed a good understanding of previous topics that were covered in the SAC we reviewed today. Key ideas of graphing, algebra, functions and domains were met well. She did a great job at tackling new concepts today, especially long division.
In regards to the SAC, Lillian needs to try and be more careful. While she displayed knowledge during class, her application was lacking in the SAC, often either misreading the question or not understanding. There were also a few mind blanks. I will try remedy this with more application style questions. In addition, Lillian needs to consolidate long division of polynomials we covered today. She needed guided steps for each questions. As such, I plan to dedicate more time to improve upon such a valuable skill.

Lillian was very eager to learn and improve upon her learning. She has good understanding of core concepts and formulas. Her coordinate geometry is refined, completing assigned work quickly and efficiently with minimal errors. She has a well understanding of sketching various graphs such as circles, hyperbolas, truncus and quadratics.
More careful reading of questions is needed. Some lacked complete answers and thus didn't fully comprehend and answer the question to a high standard. Certain concepts need to be revised upon to further ensure efficiency in the topic and mastery. Increasing the speed in which she can apply her foundational knowledge will boost her performance in exams. While her knowledge of graphs is good, it needs to be added upon and reviewed a bit as she, in occasion, forgot the sketching method or the appearance of some. Definitely, if time permits, we need to revisit transformations as I believe there is a gap in learning we can work upon.
