My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

My strengths are strong subject knowledge, clear communication, patience, adaptability, listening, encouragement, organisation and preparation, reliability

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

Make sure they are adaptable in there teaching styles to provide the student the best help possible. I also believe it’s important for a tutor to be a active listener to see what the student believes they need help with so that they can provide that as what the student requires varies from student to student

Testimonials πŸ†

Our son has really enjoyed his sessions with Kavil. Kavil is always on time, polite and keeps our son focused during the session. He has been able to explain maths concepts so that our son understands, and is consolidating what he is learning at school.

About Kavil

Strong Academic Foundation in Maths and Science

Hi my name is Kavil and I am a recent year 12 graduate who was lucky enough to be selected as my colleges valedictorian. I am currently studying engineering in a masters accelerated pathway and am looking forward to supporting my students to help them achieve their personal academic success.

Leadership, Mentoring and School Involvement

Kavil brings real leadership experience to his tutoring. He has been part of his school’s leadership team, completed a recognised youth leadership program, and was selected as valedictorian of his graduating cohort. He has also taken on responsibility as an AFL umpire, managing players and making quick decisions under pressure. These experiences show that he can communicate confidently with young people, stay calm, and guide students in building their own confidence both in and out of the classroom.

Relatable Role Model with a Sporting Background

As a keen participant in school sports such as baseball, footy, cricket and hockey, Kavil knows how to connect with active, energetic students and keep lessons engaging. He uses practical examples from sport and everyday life to make Maths and Science feel less abstract and more understandable. Known as a friendly, patient listener, this tutor focuses on building a positive rapport, helping students feel comfortable asking questions and gradually developing stronger study habits and problem-solving skills.
