What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The part I enjoy the most about tutoring is engaging with the children, in my previous experiences as well I used to look forward to engaging with the children.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths are empathy and my observation skills which translates as my ability to read student understanding, even when they hesitate to express it. Also, my ability of breaking down complex concepts into clear, accessible explanations, creating a supportive learning environment for them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most valuable thing I can give a student is confidence in the subject. In one instance, a Year 7 student avoided mathematics entirely due to a deep fear of not being ‘good enough.’ Through encouragement, patience and breaking concepts into manageable steps, I helped him overcome that fear and rebuild his confidence. For me, empowering a student to believe in themselves is the greatest achievement
