Meenakshi is a recent high school graduate who already has hands-on experience supporting children’s learning as a teaching assistant and at a private tutoring centre. She has helped coordinate large groups of students and parents, then brought that experience into one-on-one and small-group support. This tutor is used to breaking instructions into clear, manageable steps and checking for understanding, making her a great fit for primary and lower high school Maths and English support.
As a school dance club captain, Meenakshi regularly organised and led groups of more than 20 students, planning routines, schedules and performances. This gave her strong skills in managing different personalities, keeping students engaged, and staying calm under pressure. She uses these abilities in tutoring sessions by setting clear goals, structuring lesson time carefully, and maintaining a positive, encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions.
Meenakshi brings a friendly, approachable style that helps students relax and open up about what they find difficult. She holds a working with children check and first aid training, reassuring parents that safety and wellbeing are taken seriously. With more than 300 hours of school-based volunteering and leadership recognised through a service award, this tutor understands how important support and encouragement are during school years and aims to be a reliable, motivating presence for every learner.

Dania had no issue understanding problems and was able to raise questions when textbooks and notes themselves weren't clear enough for her. She has also vastly improved on her ability to develop her own problem solving strategy and way of identifying common factors in problems. This is a sign of better developing study habits that are extremely organised and well done, and is something she should carry forward in all of her subjects so that she may improve her study habits and motivation even further.
Dania needs to be better organised in completing assigned homework tasks from school after our assigned classes, so that her understanding doesn't lag through problems not done when the teachings are most memorable and fresh in her mind. This solidification of understanding in extremely important in decreasing negligible errors in future tests, sacs and exams as it sets an important precedent in her mind for how questions should be approached.

Dania understood how networks could be drawn and made up to aid with the lack of visual aid given by these logical questions, as well as how previously learnt formulas could factor themselves into solving these problems. Dania completed networks exercises with a reassuring degree of confidence that showed she knew how to work her way around such problems without overly stressing. Furthermore, she showed a good understanding of how she could utilise resources at her disposal like her notes and her CAS to be able to solve problems.
Dania needs to improve her speed at solving problems, a flaw that can only be eliminated through practice, so that during assessments, her anxiety isn't increased by the largeness of problems, as she can decode them and solve them at faster paces to bring her focus to larger, more complicated problems. Furthermore, Dania's organisation of when to complete exercises is yet to be resolved, as she needs to be able to balance learning during class, and completing exercises seperately so she can bring forward any other gaps in understanding she may have.

Dania understood all topics thoroughly and was able to demonstrate her understanding of these topics due to prior study, and still bring up points of confusion to be clarified, instead of assuming knowledge to fill intellectual gaps. This is the sign of a growing appetite for study that will be extremely helpful for Dania's future lessons so that she can excel even further. Dania was also able to communicate her revision plan to me, for her upcoming networks test, to ensure that future lesson plans are solidified in such a way that she is optimising revision to gain as much understanding and clarification on topics prior to her test.
Dania needs to still better organise when she chooses to complete exercises, as it becomes clear that the gaps between lessons and the completion of the exercise is leading to larger gaps in understanding that take tremendous amounts of work and teaching to reinforce and refill. To avoid this problem in future, she must be encouraged to complete exercises as soon as possible, correct them, and note down frequent mistakes to go through during the next lesson so that she understands where her errors lie and therefore, encourage a healthy relationship with being incorrect, one that will allow her to be more decisive amidst harsh marking next year.

Dania was excellent at being able to identify commonalities between different types of networks, and how they can be distinguished. She also demonstrated an excellent ability to analyse paths and understand what category of network they'd fall into. She was also efficient with her working out and methodology and pointed out when she needed help.
Dania needs to improve her working out of more complex problems where the networks aren't demonstrated, which can be improved with more practice and exposure to these types of problems before next year, where networks are covered in more depth and complexity.
