What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Learning. I feel like as much as a mentee learns from their mentors, there are always a lot of qualities a mentor could seek from their students. Whenever I mentored my peers, I always got to learn something new from the doubts and questions they asked. A mentor is never meant to be perfect, but should always be a better teacher and a learner from who they were in the past.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Patience is my greatest attribute. Keeping composure while doing Calculus and Algebra might be tuff, especially when your teaching. But, I can always explain a problem to a student, how much times they would want me to. It doesn't matter if they get it at the first try or not, I will be there until they understand the concepts.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being able to motivate the student to find their passion. A mentor shouldn't just teach, they should captivate curiosity and love for a subject inside the student. I always remember my math tutor, it was his lectures that sparked the love for the subject within me and eventually to my career decisions.

About Rehan

High-achieving maths and science student who understands exam pressure

Rehan is a high-performing secondary student who consistently scores above 90% across his subjects, including top results in maths, science and computer science. As a former school academic captain and “Student of the Year”, he knows exactly what is expected in assessments and board-style exams. He helps students break down tricky maths and science ideas into simple steps, focusing on exam-style questions, smart study techniques and clear, structured working so marks aren’t lost on avoidable errors.

Experienced peer mentor and academic leader

As a student council leader, Rehan was chosen to run academic initiatives at his school, where he organised peer mentoring programs and worked with teachers to lift class performance. This tutor is used to explaining concepts to classmates who are stuck, and has developed a calm, friendly way of checking understanding without making students feel judged. He uses short, targeted practice tasks and quick feedback loops so students see progress from one session to the next.

Confident communicator who keeps lessons engaging

Rehan brings strong communication skills from competitive public speaking, debates and Model United Nations, where he has repeatedly reached podium finishes. He also creates online educational content, so he knows how to keep explanations clear, visual and engaging for younger learners. Drawing on his interest in technology and simple circuitry projects, he often uses real-life examples to make abstract maths and science ideas “click”. Parents can expect organised sessions, on-time delivery and a tutor who connects well with school-aged students.
