What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is building genuine connections with students and being someone they feel comfortable learning with. I love getting to know their personalities, strengths, and what motivates them. It’s so rewarding to support them through challenges and help them feel proud of their progress. Knowing I’ve made learning a little easier and more enjoyable for them is what makes tutoring so special to me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my biggest strengths are my patience, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with young students. I have a bubbly, friendly personality which helps students feel comfortable quickly. I’m also very encouraging and supportive, and I always try to explain things in different ways until it makes sense. Being confident and driven, I naturally bring positive energy to every session.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is build a student’s confidence and make learning feel enjoyable rather than stressful. A good tutor should listen carefully, adapt to each student’s needs, and create a supportive space where mistakes are okay. When students feel understood and encouraged, they’re much more willing to try and grow.

About Chloe

Warm, Engaging Tutor with Strong Communication Skills

Chloe is a friendly, bubbly tutor who connects easily with children and teens, making learning feel relaxed and enjoyable. Through extensive customer-facing roles, she has learnt how to explain things clearly, listen carefully, and build confidence in shy or uncertain students. She brings patience, humour, and a positive attitude to each session, helping students feel comfortable asking questions and trying again when work feels challenging. Parents can expect a tutor who is reliable, approachable, and genuinely invested in their child’s progress.

Organised Support for Busy Students

As a university student, Chloe understands the pressure of balancing homework, deadlines, and life outside school. She uses her strong time-management and organisational skills to help students break tasks into manageable steps, plan study time, and stay on top of assignments. In sessions, she focuses on practical strategies such as checklists, simple schedules, and prioritising tasks, so students not only improve in Maths and English but also become more independent learners. This approach is especially helpful for students who feel overwhelmed or easily distracted.

Creative, Real-World Approach to Learning

Studying Creative Arts, Chloe brings a creative twist to tutoring, using stories, visuals, and real-life examples to make concepts in English and Maths easier to grasp. She might turn a writing task into a short script, or use everyday situations like shopping or baking to explain numeracy skills. Her experience working in busy, hands-on environments means she is calm under pressure and quick to adapt her explanations until they “click” for each student. Chloe aims to make each lesson engaging, practical, and tailored to the individual child.
