Verified Tutor
I have an Honours degree in Mathematical Sciences and a PhD in Mathematics. Since completing my studies, I have been tutoring Mathematics and Physics for over 10 years.
This tutor is known for breaking down tricky ideas into simple, stepbystep explanations, especially in algebra, calculus and problemsolving. Luke regularly supports students with homework and assignments, showing them how to structure solutions and avoid common mistakes rather than just giving answers. He also coaches students in test and exam strategies, including time management, how to show working for full marks, and how to tackle unfamiliar questions calmly and logically.
Luke works closely with both students and parents, providing honest feedback on progress and practical advice on study routines at home. He has extensive experience tutoring a wide range of abilities, from students who are struggling to those aiming for top bands in advanced courses. Lessons can be delivered inperson or online, and he holds a current Working with Children Check. Above all, he aims to build confidence so students feel capable, independent and ready for whatever maths throws at them.
