What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy tutoring because it combines my passion for math with my love of helping others. I really enjoy the sense of achievement gained from a "light-up" face or a "that makes sense" when I was tutoring my younger sister who is currently in year 7. Therefore, I find it really rewarding to break down concepts, adapt my explanations to fit students' learning style, and watch their confidence grow.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My key strengths are my patience with young learners. I understand that we cannot use the standard of adult to demand younger ones. In addition, I have the ability to turn concepts into visual imageries, helping students to understand it better. When I was in grade two, I encountered Königsberg bridge problem and I found that mathematics is not just about formula and calculation (despite now I know that this problem belongs to topology).
