What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I enjoy interacting with students and helping them to progress within their studies. I like to see students achieve academic goals that they once thought were unreachable through my help. Furthermore, I enjoy the development of my own teaching ability. As an aspiring teacher, tutoring helps to build my teaching skills, which provides me confidence to teach more.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I have excellent communication skills which enables to better engage with students regardless of their grade level and age. Furthermore, as a tutor, my strength also lies in the feedback that I deliver. I don't aim to give generic feedback that will barely help students, but personalised feedback that aims to help the weaknesses of individual students. In addition, having to repeatedly teach a topic is not a concern to me. Whether I need to teach classes in succession or explain a topic multiple times to a student, I have the patience required to effectively engage in those topics.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
A tutor should be accessible outside tutoring hours. I don't believe that a student can only get help during the hours that they go tutoring. Hence, making the effort to communicate with students and helping them with difficult topics at any time that I can is one of my top priorities. In addition, another important aspect of a tutor is student feedback. As a tutor, I should ask students whether the way I'm teaching a certain topic is beneficial for them or not which allows me to enhance their learning experience.

About Razeen
Early Start, Real Results in Maths and NAPLAN
Razeen began tutoring while still in high school, supporting Year 3 and Year 5 students preparing for NAPLAN. He taught maths, language conventions and writing, and became known for detailed, personalised feedback on practice tests and writing pieces. Instead of giving generic comments, he broke down each studentโs specific strengths and weaknesses, helping them understand exactly how to improve. Alongside this, he has consistently tutored his younger siblings in mathematics, giving him years of hands-on experience explaining tricky ideas in simple, relatable ways.
Strong Academic Foundation in Advanced Mathematics and Science
This tutor completed high school in the top class with results above 85% across advanced maths, extension maths, chemistry, biology and English, and is now studying a Bachelor of Science with a major in chemistry. This rigorous background means he is very comfortable with the full high school maths pathway and can stretch capable students while still supporting those who need to rebuild foundations. He understands the demands of school assessments and exams first-hand and uses that insight to guide students on both content and exam technique.
Patient Communicator Who Tailors Learning to Each Student
Parents will find that Razeen combines calm patience with clear communication. He is used to teaching the same concept to different groups without rushing, adjusting his explanations and examples until each student genuinely understands. In his previous tutoring role, he regularly analysed studentsโ practice work to design targeted follow-up exercises, turning weaknesses into step-by-step goals. Whether a child needs confidence, extension, or structured exam preparation, this tutor focuses on making lessons feel achievable, organised and encouraging.
