What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I enjoy interacting with students and helping them to progress within their studies. I like to see students achieve academic goals that they once thought were unreachable through my help. Furthermore, I enjoy the development of my own teaching ability. I have excellent communication skills which enables to better engage with students regardless of their grade level and age. Furthermore, as a tutor, my strength also lies in the feedback that I deliver. I don't aim to give generic feedback that will barely help students, but personalised feedback that aims to help the weaknesses of individual students. In addition, having to repeatedly teach a topic is not a concern to me. Whether I need to teach classes in succession or explain a topic multiple times to a student, I have the patience required to effectively engage in those topics.Most important things I can do for a student ๐
A tutor should be accessible outside tutoring hours. I don't believe that a student can only get help during the hours that they go tutoring. Hence, making the effort to communicate with students and helping them with difficult topics at any time that I can is one of my top priorities. In addition, another important aspect of a tutor is student feedback. Razeen began tutoring while still in high school, supporting Year 3 and Year 5 students preparing for NAPLAN.
