What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love teaching topics in isolation then revealing the interconnectivity of the topics within the greater subject. I found it was always the biggest click moment for me when I was a student and I love to replicate that feeling. I enjoy when a student finds their "aha" moment when everything clicks.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Patience and creativity. For me learning was always something that had to come in different shapes and forms for me to truly excel in a topic. When a student doesn't understand something right away I understand myself that everyone is different. No two students will ever have the same level of understanding from the same explanation. So my creativity allows me to find unique explanations targeted towards the specific student, allowing for better understanding.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Demonstrate passion and curiosity. Throughout my schooling career I always found myself excelling whenever my teacher showed passion that I would resonate with and mirror. Showing curiosity acts as a template for how a student should approach learning, as the most knowledgeable people always start as the most curious.
