As a tutor, I can manage my time and prioritise the students who require my assistance. I believe my strengths are emotional intelligence and experience within helping others achieve academic competence and then success. I can reach an understanding and communicate with my clients; I'm a trustworthy individual and have experience being an emotional support person for those with mental struggles. Though grades and academic achievement are certainly important and achievable through tutoring (I am proof of that as my grades grew from year to year), the most important thing I could do for my students is give them a safe and productive learning environment. Children can build their confidence in subjects and in general through me. About Catherine
Who am I?
I am a current student of both a bachelor of science (psychology) and commerce (marketing) within Curtin University. Outside of studying, I am an eldest child with one sibling and many cousins who I see often and a member of several interest clubs. I have a high screentime of over 8 hours a day due to a penchant for research and a curious approach towards the unknown.
My Past
I was born in 2008, and I am a graduate from Rossmoyne SHS (class of 2025) and have a rural upbringing within WA's Pilbara region (2012-2022). Having been in both the public and private school systems along with honing my own skills within teaching people around me, I am someone who understands learning and what it could look like in both neurodivergent and neurotypical students.
