About Saniya

Energetic High School Graduate Who Relates to Students

Saniya is a recent high school graduate who understands exactly what primary and high school students are working through. She has built strong communication skills by working closely with younger students in sport and through more than 70 hours of community service. Known for being calm, patient, and approachable, she creates a comfortable space where students feel safe to ask questions. This tutor brings a positive, downtoearth attitude that helps even shy learners feel at ease.

Leadership and Clear Communication from Netball Umpiring

Through several years of netball umpiring for younger year groups, Saniya has developed confident leadership and clear, firm-but-friendly communication. She regularly explains rules, mediates disagreements, and keeps games running smoothly, which translates directly into managing a focused, respectful tutoring session. Her experience supporting children on the court helps her break down instructions, give fair feedback, and encourage good “learning behaviour” just as she encourages good sporting behaviour.

Well-Rounded Interests to Engage Different Learners

Saniya’s wide range of interests—piano, Aikido, badminton, and team netball—gives her plenty of ways to connect with students who might not naturally love schoolwork. She often uses examples from sport or music to explain tricky ideas, helping concepts feel more real and memorable. Her punctuality, professionalism, and willingness to follow instructions mean parents can rely on her, while her friendly personality makes lessons feel relaxed, not intimidating.
