What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The moment I enjoy the most in tutoring is the joy in my students' eyes when they overcome a difficult question by themselves. It reinforces their self-confidence and reminds them of how capable they are.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My biggest strength as a tutor is patience and, according to me, it's also the most important as every child's grasp over concepts is entirely unique to them. Therefore, it is crucial to not compare them with others, help them out where it matters (I.e. whereever they're stuck) and let them move at their own pace.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to believe in them. Students already have bounds of pressure heaped on them, academic, parental, administrative, personal, etc. and sometimes all it takes is one Calculus question to bring them to their wit's end. A tutor must support their students throughout their learning journey and regardless of whether the child feels they're not worth it. If they give up on themselves, it is our duty to help them get back on track.

About Yashasvie
INTRODUCTION
Hi! I'm Yashasvie and I'm studying the Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) (Honours).
Hands-On Teaching Experience with Diverse Learners
Beyond one-to-one tutoring, this tutor has worked as an assistant teacher supporting students from low-income households, often stepping in to run classes and extra-curricular activities. This experience has trained him to adjust his approach for different abilities, attention spans and personalities. He is patient, observant and good at spotting when a student is stuck, then breaking problems into smaller, manageable parts so they can experience genuine βlightbulbβ moments.
Calm, Caring Mentor Who Relates Well to Young People
Having grown up helping younger siblings and cousins with homework and study routines, Yashasvie is very comfortable working with children and teens. He uses this background to create a relaxed, respectful learning environment where students feel safe asking questions. Sessions often include simple study templates, organised notes and practical examples drawn from everyday life, making concepts easier to remember. Parents can expect a reliable, communicative tutor who focuses on steady progress and a positive attitude to learning.
