What do I enjoy most about tutoring? š
I personally enjoy the subjects that I tutor, being able to have these subjects as a part of my work is a great privilege and joy. But what I even find more enjoyable is leading a student into a successful academic journey which they get better and more accomplished over time.
My Strengths as Tutor šŖ
Iām very good at breaking things down to a more intuitive and simple form. I am structured in my teaching and always approach things with a plan. In addition to my teaching approach, I believe my personality is also a major factor. Iām a patient, approachable, enthusiastic and encouraging, which helps students be more interested in topics, and feel more comfortable with asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence in their learning.
Most important things I can do for a student š
In short, making the academic journey simpler and more enjoyable. To do this, I think a tutor should have the ability to: identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the student, build a personalised structured learning plan, build foundational understanding of subjects not just memorisation, break down complex concepts into manageable chunks, provide personalised explanations, and build confidence in topics.
