What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is witnessing the 'aha!' moment—that specific second when a concept finally clicks for a student. During my time tutoring at Yellow Minds, I found that many students didn't actually lack the ability to solve a problem; they were just overwhelmed by how it was initially explained. I genuinely enjoy the challenge of taking a complex topic, breaking it down into its simplest components, and adapting my explanation until it perfectly matches the student's learning style.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My biggest strength is my ability to quickly adapt my communication style to fit the student. During my time at Yellow Minds, I realized early on that explaining a concept one way might work perfectly for one student, but completely confuse another. I am very good at recognising when a student isn't grasping the material—often before they admit it themselves—and immediately breaking the concept down into a simpler, more relatable analogy or step-by-step process.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is teach a student how to learn independently. It is not just about helping them get the right answer for tonight's homework; it is about equipping them with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they need for the future. Ultimately, the greatest success for a tutor is to build up a student's self-reliance to the point where they no longer need tutoring.

About Kaushik
Strong Maths Foundation with a Clear, Step-by-Step Style
Kaushik is an engineering graduate and current IT master’s student with a deep grounding in advanced mathematics, including algebra, trigonometry, introductory calculus, and statistics. He is skilled at breaking complex ideas into simple, logical steps that make sense to primary and high school students. Drawing on his training in problem-solving and algorithm design, this tutor helps students see patterns, understand “why” rather than just “how”, and build confidence tackling challenging maths questions independently.
Tech-Savvy Online Lessons That Feel Like a Real Classroom
This tutor has a professional dual-screen setup with a tablet and stylus, allowing him to write live on a digital whiteboard just like on paper. Students see every working step as he solves equations, draws diagrams, or explains geometry and physics concepts in real time. With reliable high-speed internet and clear screen sharing, lessons run smoothly and are highly interactive. Kaushik uses this setup to revisit past mistakes, save worked examples, and share structured notes that students can review between sessions.
Patient Communicator and Structured Problem Solver
Kaushik’s background includes guiding non-technical adults through complex IT processes, which has sharpened his patience and clarity of explanation. He uses similar methods with students: breaking big problems into smaller parts, checking understanding at each stage, and modelling calm, logical thinking. He provides organised parent updates and can design lesson plans that steadily build skills over time. His focus on logic structuring and analytical thinking helps students not only improve their marks, but also develop stronger reasoning skills across all school subjects.
