What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I find most enjoyable about tutoring is seeing students succeed such as when a concept finally clicks for them. It’s rewarding to break down something that initially feels confusing into clear, manageable steps and watch their confidence grow. I also love the valuable experience and exposure that tutoring provides, especially when I find myself improving in confidence and communication skills.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor, I find myself to be thorough, patient and adaptable, which I think are my main strengths. I tend to explore topics in depth and address all concerns to ensure it’s fully clear before moving on to the next concepts. It’s something that’s embedded into my own study routine as well because solid understanding of foundation makes further concepts a lot easier to grasp. I also adapt my explanations based on student’s needs and learning style to make sure students feel comfortable and confident.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important as a tutor is building a medium of understanding with the student and being able adapt yourself and your teaching techniques to the students’ needs and their level of knowledge. This involves identifying gaps in their knowledge and learning, and reinforcing them through guided practice. I also believe tutors should support students in making mistakes and comfortably asking questions.
