What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I am really passionate about helping people especially when it comes to building understanding in their studies. I find it extremely rewarding when others are able to understand and comprehend content due to the help I provided. Additionally, I have always been interested in science and maths, thus being a tutor would also permit me to transfer my enthusiasm for science and maths to others through fun and engaging learning.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am the oldest cousin on both sides of my family so I already have the knowledge and experience when it comes to handling younger children. I also underwent a work experience opportunity where I was able to assist in teaching small children piano and music theory. This allowed me to further develop my patience and the ability to simplify concepts to a child which I believe is a major strength of a good tutor.

I believe that the most important part in a student’s learning is the student’s complete understanding and comprehension of the content. Thus, as a tutor, I will ensure the student is confident in their understanding of a certain concept. It is also important to identify the student’s weaknesses and style of learning to ensure they can improve their understanding in an effective manner. I also believe pattern recognition is especially important with regards to the different types of exam questions. Therefore, as a tutor, I would go through the various exam question types and highlight the part
